Stitch and Sip!

Are you a beginner sewer? Do you want to learn how to make cushions or curtains? Do you want to drink some wine and chat with lovely people? If yes, Stitch and Sip is for YOU! I will be offering a 2 hour session where we will talk about basic sewing skills while at the same time working on a project that you will enjoy. I will demonstrate the how-to, give you time and one on one help as you sew your project, and I will send you home with instructions that will allow you to continue sewing at home. It will be a casual, fun atmosphere, with drinks and snacks and chatting! The cost is 25$/session. You will need your own sewing machine and I will give you a list of materials you need, consisting of fabric, thread, chalk or fabric pen/pencil, and scissors. Each session will have one specific project. The first project will be pillow cushions. There will be several options including envelope style, zipper closure, button closure, and piping.
